Our stay on the Viking Line Ferry Viking Xprs - Night Cruise From Helsinki was an interesting and unique experience. The easy check-in and boarding process made getting settled a breeze, and there were plenty of choices for dining and entertainment on board. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed that folded up into a sofa. Despite being on a ship, the cabin was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. It was also a great value for the money, offering a cheaper alternative to regular hotels in Helsinki. The view from the ferry was stunning, providing different perspectives of Helsinki and the Finnish islands.
While the departure time was fairly early at 19:00, causing us to miss an evening in Helsinki, we later learned that weekday departures have a later schedule. Additionally, the check-in process was delayed, forcing us to wait for two hours in the building without being able to leave our bags in our room.

The onboard restaurants offer a variety of delicious Nordic specialties like smoked salmon, herring, fried fish, caviar, and shrimp. I felt like a gourmet explorer trying out these amazing flavors! Each cabin comes with a private en-suite bathroom with a shower and a cozy seating area. It was like having a mini oasis in the middle of the sea!
No evening walks allowed.

We had such a blast partying with our friends all night long. The views of Helsinki and the Finland islands were absolutely stunning, especially as the sun was setting. The onboard bar had multiple screens showing live sports, so we never missed a game. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and it was so cool to watch the city lights from our window while cozy in bed. It was definitely a unique and memorable experience!
The only thing we wished for was more entertainment options specifically targeted towards young party-goers. While there were restaurants and a bar, we would have loved more activities and events that catered to our age group.

The onboard restaurants offer a variety of options including Nordic specialties like smoked salmon, herring, fried fish, caviar, and shrimp. During my stay, I had the pleasure of trying their delicious smoked salmon, and I must say, it was like a symphony of flavors dancing in my mouth. The salmon was so tender, it practically melted on my tongue, and the smoky undertones added a delightful depth to the dish. It was truly a culinary experience worth savoring.
Noisy neighbors.

There were plenty of options for dining and entertainment on board. the cabin was clean and comfortable, and I especially liked the fact that the bed could be folded up into a sofa. It was also nice to have the freedom to wander around the ship and enjoy different views.
That the departure time was a bit early, so I felt like I missed out on an evening. the wine on board wasn't very good.
